About the Event – Celebrating 30 Years of Girringun Aboriginal Corporation
Girringun Aboriginal Corporation proudly celebrates 30 years of strength, leadership, and commitment to Country, culture, and community.
This milestone event brings together Traditional Owners, Elders, youth, partners, and the wider community to honour the journey of Girringun — from its beginnings to the strong, united organisation it is today. Over three decades, Girringun has played a vital role in protecting cultural heritage, caring for Country, and ensuring the voices of our nine Traditional Owner groups are heard and respected.
The 30-year celebration is a time to reflect on our shared achievements, acknowledge those who have walked before us, and celebrate the next generation who will carry this work forward. Through storytelling, cultural activities, and community connection, we honour the past, celebrate the present, and look toward a strong future.
